The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a universal set of 17 goals created by the United Nations. These goals act as an urgent call to action for countries to help end global poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all by the end of 2030. Each of our five WE Villages Pillars of Impact tie in to at least one SDG, which means that when you take action for any of our service-learning campaigns or fundraising initiatives you are joining the rest of the world in working toward a sustainable future.
Are you passionate about addressing the plastic waste problem? The growing use of single-use plastic is creating huge environmental issues, impacting our oceans, wildlife and surroundings. WE has partnered with Wakefern to reward you for taking action. If you are a resident of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware or Connecticut, you are eligible to apply for this grant.
